Description
The common name for this variegated agave is century plant, derived because they have very long lifespans. It only flowers once in the plants lifetime, and then has yellow-green flowers on a tall stem extending upwards of the plant.
It’s very easy to care for. Agaves require full sun and well draining sandy or loamy soil. They get quite large so consider that when choosing to keep them in containers.
A good choice for drought tolerant gardens and companion plant for succulents.
